I heart baby wipes

Did you know that cloth baby wipes can go through the washer and dryer many times before they finally fall apart?

We did buy baby wipes when my kids were little. We used them a lot for my son (he had 3+ stinky diapers a day) and rarely for my daughter (the girl just never pooped!). After the kids no longer were in diapers, we continued to have many unopened packages of baby wipes. So we started to use (and re-use and re-use) them as cloths. We use them in lieu of paper towels, napkins, cleaning cloths, and sometimes sponges. They are economical, environmentally friendly, and super convenient.

We no longer buy paper towels or napkins because we just use and wash our baby wipes!

Where did you get your cloth baby wipes?

Great idea - we have gotten rid of paper towels but haven't used up all of the napkins yet. I hadn't even thought of using wipes. Thank you.

Any kind of baby wipes will work. The majority of mine were from Costco (Kirkland brand).

What a great tip - now that my kids are out of diapers...I'll have to wait until I have grandkids. :)

So disposable cloth baby wipes that when purchased are wet? Do you re-wet them? Or use them dry?

Nikki: yes the wipes that are wet when purchased. We store them in a big pile dry. Then we can use them dry, or wet them quickly under the sink for a wet cloth.
