I try to follow a weekly schedule. Since I'm no good at doing this at home for my cleaning, I might as well get it right here on my blog!
Monday: Children's books with Speech Therapy tips thrown in there (I can't resist!)
Tuesday: Teaching Tuesday tips, Kitchen tips
Wednesday: Wordless Wednesday aka Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Works for Me
Thursday: Therapy Thursday (speech therapy that is)
Friday: Funny Friday (a comic, funny, or other to lighten my mood), Frugal tips
Saturday: all heck breaks loose and you never know what you'll get ;)
Since I am quickly approaching my 100th post, I'll use this as an excuse to tell you a few things about myself as practice.
I've lived on both coasts but never in the middle of the US
I started traveling (internationally) without my parents at age 11
I love kids
I am not patient with kids
I am not patient with adults either
I'm told my humor can be very dry and you may not catch (or understand) my jokes
Luckily, my husband does
It's good at least one person does
I consider myself a semi-geek
You couldn't go to my college and not consider yourself a geek
I majored in biology
I was one of two students in all my bio classes who never wanted to go to med school
I didn't want to be a dentist either
Because looking in mouths is gross
Ha! Joke's on me! Guess what I do every day?

Probably you use up all your patience at work (speech pathologists are, as a group, the most absolutely patient people I've ever met) and then when you get off work, you're about fed up and don't want to deal with people's nonsense. It seems like we have a lot in common...except for the biology thing. And I too have been accused of having a very dry wit (nobody ever catches my jokes). Anyway, very nice to meet you. I'll be back for more in depth reading later!

My Name is KC(well here in the blogging world anyways) I"m a SAHM of 4 kids, my younger 2 at the moment are in Speech Therapy, my 6 year old though her school and my 2 year old though the hospital.. I really am looking forward to your tips and speech post.. My 6 years old seems to be coming along nicely.. but my 2 year(well he will be 3 in May) has a speech delay they thing due to the lack of oxygen at his birth, and lately he seems to be moving backwards then forward..

Ha Ha, well I have super powers yup my husband tells me I have a super sniffer (can tell he passed gas from anywhere in the 1614 sq ft abode), and the super sonic hearing too (again I can hear that he passed gas in the same range). Anyway your blog is delightful. I'll be back - Hosta la vista
