It never occurred to me to use my Cuisinart for cheese...great results!
It looks beautiful AND you have full use of your fingers!
Am I super lazy if I just buy my cheese already shreaded?
Kathryn, you aren't super lazy... you just aren't trying to live on my food budget! LOL!
Totally love this. We recently bought one and it is a wonderful addition to our kitchen.
I get my teenager to grate for me. LOL
I definitely need this! Yesterday I was using my grater and about sliced off my finger...yum.
Ouch. I'm all for the pre-grated cheese for this very reason.
Very nice visuals. I don't have a Cuisinart but my Pampered Chef cheese grater works pretty well to avoid the problem.
Great advice for those who love to keep their fingers - oh yeah - that would be me.
You could have written this on my behalf. I shamelessly admit to buying shredded cheese too! :O
Another great tip!
I totally heart my Cuisinart!
Tammy, normally I have my husband grate for me. I actually call him "Grate Man!" and even have the little "Bat Man" song for him. But alas, he is not always available. :(
Hi CC--I hope you haven't made the rolls yet...my whole wheat recipe needed correction. The 1 cup water is supposed to be 2 cups!! Sorry about that! Have a great week and where is that Spring???
Confession: every time I grate cheese I look at my Cuisinart and its grater attachment, but I'm afraid to use it!
I hate it when there is hand sprinkled on my pasta.
I can't live without my food processor and this is one of the big reasons why. I also have awful nightmares about shredding my fingers while using a grater. Gross, huh?
