I'm so glad that I stumbled across your blog :) Oddly (or sadly?) enough, this is exactly the kind of social story I need to use with my six-year-old. Now, do you have one so that he doesn't strip naked in the kindergarten bathroom, lol? I can't wait to read the rest of your posts :)
I can't tell you how many times we've gone over "I do not touch other people's bodies. If I do, they will be angry and upset. I don't want people to be angry and upset, so I will not touch other people's bodies."
Possibly not your average Speech-Language Pathologist--mom to two beauties born in South Korea and wife to a wonderful man whose body has been over-taken by horrid pain.
Feel free to become part of my "free therapy plan" as we struggle through disability, pain, and finding joy in the midst of it all.

Hahaha, not many, that's for sure! Wow. But at least you're working with children and not having to remind adults of this...
i caught myself saying the other day ... "remember ... when we are in the hallway ... we walk like a boy! not! a! car!" seriously?

It's almost like what I say all the time at home!
Haha! That sounds very familiar.

But it truly is a rewarding and amazing career!
Haha! I feel ya! If we didn't have a sense of humor, we wouldn't last very long as SLPs!
Oh my goodness! You are an angel!!!
I know an awful lot of adults that could stand to hear this . . . ahem.
